This particular bourbon is unique because it is hand-selected from individual barrels and bottled one barrel at a time. Each barrel has its own distinct flavor profile, resulting in a one-of-a-kind tasting experience.The whiskey is made from a mash bill of 68% corn, 28% rye, and 4% malted barley, which gives it a complex and spicy flavor with a hint of sweetness. The barrels are aged for a minimum of 9 years in charred American oak barrels, which imparts rich notes of vanilla, caramel, and oak.The nose of Bulleit Single Barrel Selection is filled with aromas of toasted oak, vanilla, and caramel, followed by hints of cinnamon and baking spices. On the palate, the whiskey is smooth and well-balanced, with flavors of honey, butterscotch, and dark fruit. The finish is long and warm, with a gentle spiciness that lingers on the tongue.
